Virgin Mobile releases the Lg Optimus V

For the past few months many people have been wondering if the Lg Optimus was coming to Virgin Mobile USA. Earlier this weekend it was confirmed when someone obtained the phone from their local Target store before the release day on February 1st 2011, later during the week Virgin Mobile confirmed it on their twitter account and ever since I’ve been getting many questions about this device.

The Lg Optimus is an entry level smart phone running Android Operating system 2.2 Froyo this device has a 3 megapixel camera with autofocus and a VGA video recorder. The Memory will run 512 MB SDRAM with 170MB flash memory with a 2 GB MicroSD card included. Sprint released this phone with a Wi-Fi receiver but Virgin Mobile has blocked it on their particular device.

As I stated previously I’ve had many  questions about this phone and if I will be doing a review on it and the answer is yes as soon as I get my hands on this device there will be many videos and how to along with a full review on my thoughts. But I can already tell you by looking at the Lg Optimus V it will definitely be a great little phone.

The Optimus V will run you 149. Dollars which is quite the steal considering the Samsung intercept is nearly 250. Dollars in some retail stores. Not to mention the Samsung Intercept is running an older OS system and very sluggish at times. I will be giving a full comparison of both phones together. I think Virgin Mobile is currently topping the prepaid market with their amazing plans along with their Smartphone’s.

Please stay tuned to my YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/sassygirl8324 for more news on the LG Optimus V.

No Glasses Needed Nintendo 3DS!

Hello guys! Were getting closer and closer to the release date of the new Nintendo 3DS most of you have been anticipating this system now for months. I know I have! For those of you who have not heard Nintendo's latest video game console was introduced at the CVG last year. The Nintendo 3DS will be the successor of the Nintendo ds line. At first glance the Nintendo 3DS looks like any other gaming console in fact it looks much like the original Dsi, but this system is far from being compared to a regular Ds.

The Nintendo 3DS hardware features are amazing I can definitely say that this gaming system will change the way we play hand held game's and although it may be too early to tell I'm almost certain other companies will try to compete with their own 3D portable gaming systems. The hardware in the new 3DS features a 3D screen without the need for clunky 3D glasses you're going to be able to see these beautiful graphics without them also included is a 3D slider so you can manually change the amount of 3D you want while playing games because we all known that are eyes adjust differently. This time around Nintendo added a motion sensor and a gyro sensor I was wondering in the last release of the DS XL why they had not added a motion sensor but they finally picked it up on this gaming device. The 3DS will have an amazing widescreen display on the top and a brilliant touch screen on the bottom. I found it very interesting in this hard ware they decided to add an analog or joystick I'm sure soon enough will find out what fun features that will work with. The cameras added to this device are great! I love the fact that not only will this gaming system be able to play 3D games but now take 3D pictures who isn't excited about trying out that feature? The stylus sure have came along ways since the old Nintendo ds there now going to be adjustable in height and from the released pictures they look metal which would be great because the plastic ones easily brake! Another huge thing for me with the new 3DS is the charging dock! Am I the only one sick of boring wall chargers?? A dock is a genius idea! Included this time will be a 2GB SD card for extra storage this really is an extra that there adding so it’s great you're also able to expand to larger media cards. I'm also very pleased to hear that Nintendo left the gaming slot with everything going to digital content I find the video game should definitely not be digital.  This system will also cover all of the older Ds game lines so you're older ds games will run the same if not better in the 3DS.

Can you believe Nintendo 3DS Street pass? OK so I'm at the mall with my Nintendo 3DS in my purse and I walk by a person who has one in their pocket, The 3DS will know on its own to connect to there's and share information such as game data and Mii's, Not to mention there adding the Mii channel to the 3DS who doesn't love that? If you're like me everyone in my family has a Mii made by me of their self even if they don't use the wii! The Mii channel is amazing and who hasn't spent countless hours designing characters? The Nintendo 3DS will be released on March 27 2011 in two vibrant colors Aqua Blue and Cosmo Black but I am willing to bet before the year is up there will be other colors released.

There are many game's I'm looking forward to playing on this device one of the biggest is Animal Crossing 3D, I love my Animal Crossing so I know this game will be a hit for me. Also in the line are nintendogs + cats  this game look's super cute and fun using the built in camera's you're dog and cat will be able to recognize you! But hand it over to a friend and they will recognize that it's someone else and will shy away from them genius. Street fighter IV 3D looks great and brings me back to old memories of some of them classic games this will be a definite in my collection. There is going to be some amazing games put out for this console over the next few years. I believe the Nintendo 3DS will be a game changer to hand held gaming! What are your thought's will you be buying the 3DS when it comes out? Let me know. Thanks for taking the time to read!

Game Review 1.0 Kirby’s Epic Yarn

Hey everyone! If you haven’t already seen it Kirby’s Epic Yarn has now been out for a few months. I bought this game a few weeks ago and although it has large competition with other new popular releases such as Donkey Kong Country Returns and Michael Jackson the experience this game was a huge hit in my book.

Kirby’s Epic Yarn what a silly title for a Nintendo game.  Although Kirby games have been around for years in fact to be exact since 1992. This time Kirby finds himself in quite the jam when the mean villain Yin-Yarn turns him into a piece of pink yarn and attempts to take over patch land! After all what would a villain be without a sock tied around his neck? So with the help of Prince Fluff they begin to try to stitch patch land back together.

This game has cute graphics and can be childish at times but for die hard Nintendo fans I doubt they will even notice. There’s amazing levels along with really fun accomplishments such as collecting patches and trying to play a whole level while collecting all the beads. But more importantly with Kirby being a piece of yarn he can transform into all types of objects such as a shark, Car, Saucer and even a train. The game play can go quick because unlike most games you cannot die in this one which is refreshing; this game is great for people of all ages and has earned a 10 from me!  Let’s hope for Kirby’s Epic Yarn 2. Enjoy your week and thanks for taking the time to read my blog post.

Empire Brands Wicked Audio

Today when I got home I received a package from Empire Brands (Thank you again Empire). The products included where two sets of headphones from their Wicked Audio line of products. If I may I would love to share my thoughts on these incredible sounding headphones. Included in the box where a pair of Wicked Metallics Cellular and a pair of Wicked Reverbs, both products have been tested by me. You can also check out the un boxing and review on my YouTube Channel at www.youtube.com/sassygirl8324

Empire seems to take their product line very seriously. The headphones came in neatly designed boxes, right away I could tell the quality was nice! The Wicked Reverbs are DJ style headphones. Included in the box was a separate extended cord 4ft long with an adapter for studio equipment. The quality of the headphones felt great in the hands and where not cheap feeling. The headphones fit over the ears with great comfort, but what was more amazing was the quality of the sound. Empire headphones have deep bass so the sound is such great quality and the music is phenomenal.

Wicked Metallics Cellular headphones are for those of us who enjoy music on our portable devices such as cell phones and Mp3 players. These headphones come with a built in microphone for cellular calls, the quality of the calls was great along with the added button for ending and answering calls. Wicked Metallics Cellulars had the same great music experience as the reverbs in smaller ear buds and with an added button that doubles as a mute button when listening to music. Great idea Empire!

Wicked headphones come in many different shapes, sizes, and colors. When you purchase a pair of Empire Wicked headphones you will receive a lifetime warranty. What other company will do that? In my opinion Empire Wicked Brand headphones are great quality and worth every penny! Check them out at

Android vs Blackberry

There have been many questions and comments over the past year about Blackberry service vs. Android and although both phones function as smartphones they have completely different operating system platforms. One of the most popular questions I receive from viewers on my YouTube Channel www.youtube.com/sassygirl8324 is "Should I buy Android or the Blackberry?" This is always tough to answer without knowing the user personally; therefore it is hard to give the appropriate response. Hopefully today I can shine some light on this debate.  It's very well known that Android and Blackberry have a very large community of die-hard supporters.  Please note that this is only my opinion and nothing more. Let’s begin!

Android is owned by the giant of the internet Google, when buying this device you will find that you must obtain a Google e-mail address called Gmail to even run the device's Market and many other features. Android offers one of the largest application markets on a smart phone device and there are currently 200,000 apps available for download, Applications can range from exciting games such as "Angry Birds" to programs including "Barcode Scanner.” It goes without saying that Android has a much better market for applications than Blackberry.

Android devices are commonly touch screen phones, on occasion they may have a slide out keyboard for text messaging and e-mail. Some people find that the touch screen can become a large bother when texting on a virtual keypad instead of having a physical one. Android has amazing social networking and instant messaging features.  Customizing the Android phone is fun and easy with cool applications for wallpaper and ringtones along with the option for widgets and themes. Android does have the best customization choices when comparing it with the Blackberry. If you want a phone with all the bells and whistles as well as superlative applications for personal customization go with the Android and you won’t be displeased.

Blackberry was developed by research in motion and when it first came out was known as a business phone for people who worked for large companies or ran their own business. Nowadays many people own and are satisfied with a Blackberry device. The Blackberry service is one of a kind and many people enjoy this phone because of the multitasking features.  One being that it's incredibly nice to be involved in a phone call and still have the ability to load applications and do simple tasks at the same time.

Blackberry is also very well known and popular because of one application called "BlackBerry Messenger" also known as BBM.  Blackberry Messenger is assigned to all phones and gives you the option to obtain your own PIN in which you can send to friends and family to add you, sort of like major messenger carriers (Yahoo or MSN) but what makes Blackberry Messenger so appealing to people is that you can send photos, voice recordings, and messages to the contact within seconds.  It's very fast, reliable, and can be a lot of fun. Blackberry is also known for Push e-mail service, this means there's no waiting for your email to come through on you're mobile device.  Blackberry devices are normally good quality phones with nice physical keypads for e-mailing and sms messages. With most companies you will be charged a certain amount of money each month to use a Blackberry, they call this charge "BIS."  Without BIS you cannot run internet or email functions. Without BIS a Blackberry is nothing more than a simple phone. Blackberry devices are not for designing home screens and customization. Their greatest features are E-mailing, Web, BBM, and Phone calls. Although Blackberry offers a Blackberry Market for applications they are few and far between when trying to find something you're interested in downloading. This phone is not for games, but if you're looking for stability with calling, Emailing, BBM, and web this is the phone for you.

So when asked the question Android vs. Blackberry the answer is actually quite simple, what do you need in a phone? If the answer is cool applications and customization then Android is the one for you. If you're looking for a device for E-mail and web, Blackberry is the better of the two!  Both phones have amazing features along with some drawbacks. It always comes down to personal preference.  What do you prefer?

I hope this blog post helped answer any questions and please feel free to post a comment or question below, Thanks for reading!
