Do you Animal Crossing?

A happy St. Patrick’s day to my fellow bloggers let’s hope for a win for Michigan State tonight.  Today’s blog post is one that I’ve wanted to write for quite some time.  Do you play any version of Animal Crossing? This is one of my favorite games of all time. Animal Crossing the original was released on the old Game cube consul, unfortunately I didn’t buy a Game Cube when it came out, and I sure did miss a lot of really great games. Now that I have a Nintendo Wii I bought the Original Animal crossing. A few years later Animal Crossing Wild world came out on the Nintendo DS and the more recent version Animal Crossing City folk came out on the wii in 2008. With the release of the newest Animal Crossing version for the Nintendo 3DS upon us there’s not a better time to speak about this great game.

Animal Crossing is one of them game’s that you can play for countless hours there’s really no losing or winning in this game but there sure is hours of entertainment. Animal Crossing is a platform game like Sim’s but in my opinion way better.  The objective is simple make a town and live in it. Each town has select neighbors’ that are animals there’s hundreds of different ones so you can be guaranteed that you will have different ones then most of your friends.

There are many things to do on animal crossing such as fishing to earn Bells; Bells are currency on Animal crossing, Catching bugs, Shopping and visiting friend’s on Wi-Fi. Thousands of people play Animal Crossing every day from age’s  four to sixty that’s right I said sixty, I’ve met a few of these older gamers their amazing people. This game has been such a hit for Nintendo there is even a forum that many visit every day with free guides and people to meet to play on Wi-Fi with, it’s also very surprising some people still believe the original game cube version of Animal crossing is the best and still play this great game.

Anyway guy’s what game’s do you enjoy? Do you spend countless hours on it? I will leave you guy’s with that thought and a video of one of my old Animal Crossing City folk towns! Again thank you for taking the time to read my blog. You guys rock!

Virgin Mobile Optimus V surpasses Samsung Intercept.

A good morning to all my blogger readers, It’s March 6th so that means were getting closer and closer to Spring and after this long cold Winter here in southern Michigan I can definitely say I’m ready for some warm air and sunshine. I hope this blog post finds everyone in great health and happiness.

From my YouTube box I've received lots of comments on the Lg Optimus V, Virgin Mobiles newest handset device and the underdog the Samsung Intercept.  A lot of the questions regarding these phones have to do with comparison, we definitely want to buy a phone that fits are needs and that we are happy with, so today I would love to answer some of them questions and tell you what I think. Please keep in mind that these are my idea’s only; you may have a different opinion on the products.

Let’s begun with the Samsung Intercept. Virgin Mobile’s first Android device, When this phone came out I had never even used a Android powered phone and I had no Idea even what to expect from it, In fact I really didn’t care at the time if I got this phone because I didn’t know the potential of the Android Market when I discovered it I found myself super excited, If you’re curious I was running   the Blackberry Curve by Virgin Mobile before getting the Intercept. Any who this phone was a hit right away the applications are a lot of fun and having a full QWERTY keyboard is always great.

When The Optimus V was released by Virgin Mobile USA I didn’t believe that for the 149.99 dollar price tag that this phone could surpass the intercept. Sure it was loaded with Android Froyo 2.2 with live wallpaper but without the keyboard I wasn’t so impressed until I dropped my Intercept into some water and broke it, then I decided to take the plunge and buy the Optimus V. It’s very true that the Lg Optimus V is a faster phone which is quite surprising because it has a smaller processor. After using both devices let me show you what I feel is the good and bad about both phones in my opinion.

Samsung Intercept                                             Lg Optimus V
QWERTY Keyboard                                           Faster More reliable
Physical Keys                                                   Live Wallpapers
Speed Dial                                                        No Freezing Problems
Angry Birds Problems                                        No Speed Dial L
Freezing Issues                                                 More solid professional device
800 MHZ Processor                                           Android 2.2 Froyo
Update to Android froyo soon                              Key’s more responsive
Cheaper in price with better OS
                                                                        600 MHz processor
                                                                        Bad Battery Life
After having both of these phones the Lg Optimus V has won me over although I do miss the lacking physical keyboard that the intercept has. The speed of the Lg Optimus V and professional feel works better for me! Would you like to see a comparison of the Lg Optimus V and the Samsung Intercept? Check out my YouTube channel for more information. Again Blogger friend’s it’s been nice thanks again for taking the time to read this and have a wonderful up coming week.

Angry Birds hit the big screen.

Good Morning Blogger readers, I hope everyone is doing great.  A few weeks ago while looking at the rovio fan page on Facebook I was surprised to see that Rovio has partnered with 20th century fox to make a movie in which will be titled Angry Birds Rio the announcement was on the Super Bowl game I must have missed it somehow.

Angry birds is a great game I’ve been playing it off and on since it came out. Currently in the United States Angry Birds is the number one top iphone application, it’s also the number one for many other countries.  For those of you who haven’t ever played angry birds or tried it you can find this game on your Apple, Android or Ovi device.  Angry Birds is a strategy game and the storyline is quite unique, Apparently the mean green pigs stole the birds treasured eggs in the game you will find a slingshot and the Pigs hiding in multiple area’s the object is quite simple and that is to shoot the birds into multiple walls and objects to kill the pigs to get their eggs back.

I’ve found Angry Birds very addicting in fact like any geek I find myself playing it for hours and hours trying to get to the next level and when you do finally beat a level it’s a rush of excitement.  There have been a lot of comments on websites about people being addicted to this game at work. Angry birds started off as a game that no one knew into now making a movie. Lately I’ve seen more and more items in stores such as T-shirts and angry birds stuffed animals; this kind of stuff makes me happy to see.
There are two Angry Birds games currently in the application stores Angry Birds the original and Angry Birds Seasons; Angry Birds Seasons is a holiday version of the Angry Birds platform such as Halloween, Christmas and the newest Valentine’s Day. I found with my own game play that seasons is a harder game then the original.

What are your thoughts on Angry Birds going to the big screen? Will you go to see Angry Birds Rio? I would definitely buy it and watch it. Anyway guys again thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog. I will be writing a new one soon comparing my thoughts on the Virgin Mobile Samsung Intercept and Lg Optimus V. So stay tuned and enjoy the week!

                                        All the best,
