Nintendo Ds great Babysitting tool?

Sony’s CEO Jack Tretton made a comment last week saying the Nintendo DS was a great babysitting tool and that no twenty something person is going to be sitting on an airplane with one of those, when I read this article when it was first released I couldn’t believe it. There has always been a disagreement between those who are Nintendo fans and Song but to say such a comment is ridicules.

As a twenty something with a Nintendo Ds system with many games I seem to find this statement almost laughable of the ignorance. Mario is too childish? Since when did anyone put a banned on how old you are to enjoy a video game no matter the age? Not everyone is interested in the Xbox and Playstation games I mean how many war games and madden football can be made plus it’s not everyone’s cup of tea to enjoy blood and gut violence on are consoles some of us just want to relax with something fun.  As for the comment about Mario this is a classic game that people have been playing since the 80s most of us have grown up with the many Mario series of games, What Sony game has done that? People young and old still enjoy it.

The game line up for the Nintendo Ds is huge there is games of all types and some of the best games out there are made from Nintendo ds, a babysitting toy? The new Nintendo 3DS is a 250 dollar device would you let a child you’re babysitting play it? I highly doubt that. Not to mention the fact that Sony has been stealing Nintendo’s ideas for years!  After looking at the PSP and the lineup of games I was trying to decide if I would want this system with the new price drop, quite honestly after reading this article I wouldn’t give Sony a red cent. Making jokes and bashing a company to attempt to gain customers is a low blow especially to a company who has been above them for years!

“Nice try Sony!”

Hello peepz! I hope that everyone is enjoying the weekend. I have posted a video on YouTube of my Virgin Mobile Froyo update to 2.2. My phone is working great with less freezing and issues but I have received a lot of e-mails asking me how I updated my phone without receiving the update below I will tell you exactly how to update it. This is a quick an easy fix for the upgrade but remember if you decided to do this it is at your own risk also please (Note) these steps do not work on rooted or previously rooted phones.

Download *whatever one works for you, you don’t need both*
Or...

Instructions..
1.       Click the link and save the file (Don’t Unzip) to your SD card’s root directory. (Not in a Folder)
2.       Change the file name to “Update.zip” (If during the installation it Aborts change to “update”
3.       Turn off your phone (Make Sure its fully charged)
4.       Hold down the VOLUME DOWN, SEND & END key all together until the phone boots up to recovery mode screen. (Plug phone in once you’re at the screen. If you leave the charger in before, it will boot normally and not to recovery mode. Also make sure the phone is fully powered off before turning it back on. If the keyboard light turns on when you slide it up, it is not off. ))

Let it run and it will reboot when it is complete.

Boost Mobile Samsung Galaxy Prevail

A happy Sunday blogger readers, I hope that everyone enjoyed the weekend.  I’m sorry as of late that I haven’t got any blog post out to you guys, I have been fighting a case of bronchitis and some other family related issues but I am finally back and ready to go.  Boost Mobile has finally introduced its first ever CDMA Android device the Samsung Galaxy Prevail and I’m super excited about it. Currently I’m running the Samsung Intercept on Virgin Mobile’s unlimited plan at 60 dollars a month and I’m considering the switch to Boost when the Prevail hits markets later this month.  I’ve already had questions on my Twitter account asking why I would switch and there are some very good points I would like to make.

Currently Virgin Mobile’s unlimited plan is running 60 dollars a month where Boost Mobile is 50 that may not be that much of a difference but when you throw in Boost Mobile’s new shrinkage the plan look’s more appealing. Boost Mobile’s service starts at 50 dollars and when you sign up for Shrinkage after 6 payments you’re plan goes down to 45$ after  twelve payments 40$ and after eighteen 35$ it’s almost as if there rewarding you to use their service and after the Prevail is released it won’t be hard not to want it.

The Samsung Galaxy Prevail is an Android platform 2.2 Froyo phone. With a 2 MP Camera with video. The phone offers an Accelerometer, Built in speaker phone, Android Market, GPS, IM and Email of course. This phone will fit my needs perfectly and I cannot wait to get a review up to you guys. Although Boost Mobile has no officially said when this phone will come to a market near you, I’m guessing around April 14th so what do you think of this new Android device? Thanks again for taking the time to read this blog! You guys are great! Enjoy the upcoming week and I’ll see you all in my next video/blog.
